MIDDLE SCHOOL.

BY MEANS OF OUR INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC PROGRAM, WE RESPOND TO THE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES OF THE 21ST CENTURY BY ENCOURAGING STUDENTS TO ESTABLISH CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THEIR LEARNING AND THE REAL WORLD.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PROGRAMS.

We constantly strive to be at the forefront of education by means of constant innovation. Our curriculum is based on the national education syllabus offered by SEP (Mexico’s Ministry of Education), which is enriched by our own institutional programs, as well as by the IBO’s Middle Years Program (MYP). It is our commitment to make educational excellence a reality.

We offer a broad and in depth academic curriculum based on eight subject groups or disciplines, (Language and Literature, Language Acquisition - English and French, Science, Mathematics, Arts, Physical and Health Education and Design - Technology and Robotics). In these subject groups we provide learning experiences that go far beyond the academic field, demanding of students critical thinking skills, working on crossed disciplinary ideas and issues in a collaborative framework.

LANGUAGE PROGRAM.

The acquisition of English and French are an essential part of Middle School’s language program. Teaching different content subjects in English is one example of the many strategies we implement to allow students to continue their development in this language. As part of our evaluation strategies, we offer students the possibility to obtain international English language certifications.

STUDENT FOLLOW UP PROGRAM.

At Middle school our students receive personalized attention by means of different strategies that aim at supporting them in their learning and personal development processes.

FOSTERING READING HABITS.

We offer a thorough reading program that includes a wide range of reading strategies aimed at developing students’ reading competence and comprehension, as well as inquiry skills and the habit of reading for pleasure.

SUSTAINABILITY CULTURE.

With the aim to become a sustainable community, our Middle School promotes programs to protect our environment while considering economic, cultural and social development issues.

SERVICE LEARNING.

Students have the opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom to real contexts in benefit of their community and its surroundings by means of the “Service Learning” methodology.

INTERCULTURALITY.

The cultural diversity that characterizes our community is generated thanks to students and teachers of different nationalities. This allows our students to learn about themselves, their own culture and other people’s in an open and respectful environment.
